FuudUp is a social gastronomy platform where users can discover restaurants, cafés, bars, and other food and beverage venues; share photos, videos, reviews, ratings, and other content relating to food and beverage experiences; and interact with other users.
This Young User Safety Policy ("Policy") has been prepared to support the safety of users under the age of 18 on FuudUp, protect young users from inappropriate content and interactions, and establish the fundamental rules for the safe use of the Platform.
Within the scope of this Policy, "Young User" means a FuudUp user who has reached the age of 13 but has not yet reached the age of 18.
To create an individual user account on FuudUp, a person must be at least 13 years of age.
Accounts belonging to persons determined to be under the age of 13 may be suspended or closed by FuudUp.
Users must provide accurate information regarding their age when creating an account. If false or misleading age information is provided, FuudUp may review the account and apply measures it deems necessary.
FuudUp may restrict access to certain social, communication, location, or other features depending on the user's age.
If a user believes their age has been incorrectly assessed, they may contact FuudUp to request a review.
FuudUp may apply appropriate technical, operational, and moderation measures to make the experience of young users on the Platform safer.
These measures may include;
FuudUp may change the terms of use of Platform features and security measures over time to protect the safety of young users.
FuudUp is a food and beverage and gastronomy-focused platform.
Content shared by users is expected to relate primarily to;
Content that is unrelated to food and beverage experiences, incompatible with the purpose of the Platform, or contrary to the FuudUp Community Guidelines may be reviewed, have its visibility limited, or be removed.
These rules apply to all users, both young and adult.
Conduct that threatens the safety of young users on FuudUp is not permitted.
The following conduct is prohibited:
If such conduct is detected, the relevant content may be removed, and the account may be restricted, suspended, or permanently closed.
Where necessary and legally required, relevant records may be shared with authorized authorities.
FuudUp does not permit content that seriously endangers the physical or psychological safety of young users.
Within this scope;
may be reviewed by FuudUp and necessary measures may be applied.
FuudUp may enable users to ask questions of one another, provide answers, and interact in various ways on the Platform.
These features may not be used for the purpose of;
FuudUp may restrict certain social or communication features based on age or apply additional security measures to these features to protect young users.
Access to a paid subscription or other feature does not grant the user any right to communicate outside the scope of this Policy or the FuudUp Community Guidelines.
Young users are advised not to share sensitive or excessive personal information about themselves or others on the Platform.
In particular, information such as;
should not be shared in publicly accessible content.
FuudUp may remove certain content or limit its visibility for the purpose of protecting personal information or young users.
Detailed information regarding the processing of personal data is set out in the FuudUp Privacy Policy and relevant KVKK texts.
Certain features of FuudUp may use location information for the discovery of restaurants and venues.
The use of location information by young users may be subject to device permissions and security measures applied by FuudUp.
Young users are advised not to publicly share;
FuudUp may restrict location sharing or features that it assesses to pose a risk to young user safety.
FuudUp may enable users to engage in social interaction through restaurant and food and beverage experiences. However, FuudUp is not a party to in-person meetings that take place outside the Platform between users or to communications conducted through third-party communication channels.
Young users must exercise caution when sharing personal contact information with persons they do not know and when planning meetings outside the Platform.
FuudUp may review solicitation, pressure, harassment, or suspicious communications that may pose a risk to the safety of young users in particular and apply necessary account measures.
No user may engage in the following conduct toward another user:
Such conduct directed at young users may be assessed particularly seriously by FuudUp.
Depending on the nature of the incident, FuudUp may remove the relevant content, restrict communication or account features, suspend the account, or close it.
Persons who impersonate another person, use misleading identity information, or create fake accounts for the purpose of communicating with young users are not permitted.
FuudUp may request additional verification from suspicious accounts and, where necessary, restrict or close the relevant account.
Profiles of restaurants, cafés, bars, and other appropriate food and beverage businesses on FuudUp may be viewed by Users.
Access to a business account, business package, or the FuudUp Business Panel does not grant the business unlimited access to the personal contact information of young users.
Businesses and Business Representatives are obliged to comply with FuudUp rules and applicable legislation in their interactions with young users.
It is prohibited to use business accounts for inappropriate communication, collection of personal information, manipulation, harassment, or similar purposes directed at young users.
Campaigns and commercial content belonging to businesses may be displayed on FuudUp.
With respect to products, services, or content requiring the protection of young users, FuudUp may apply age-based restrictions or other protective measures in accordance with applicable legislation.
Businesses are obliged to comply with applicable legislation on advertising, consumer protection, electronic communications, and the protection of young persons in their campaigns and communications directed at young users.
Parents or legal representatives may contact FuudUp if they have safety concerns regarding the use of FuudUp by a user under the age of 18.
FuudUp may request necessary information and documents to verify the identity and authority of the user or the applicant.
A parent or legal representative who believes that a child under the age of 13 has a FuudUp account may report the situation to FuudUp.
Children or young persons may occasionally appear in food and beverage content shared by adult users.
When sharing such content;
FuudUp may remove content or limit its visibility if it assesses that it poses a risk to the safety or privacy of young persons.
Users may report the following through the reporting tools or communication channels provided by FuudUp:
FuudUp evaluates reports made based on the nature of the incident and the information available.
Making a report does not mean that the reported account or content will be automatically removed. However, in situations involving urgent or serious safety risks, FuudUp may apply temporary protective measures.
FuudUp may cooperate with authorized public institutions and judicial authorities in accordance with applicable legislation where there is a serious and concrete risk to the safety of a young user, suspicion of a crime, or a legal obligation to report.
Personal data is shared with authorized authorities only to the extent that legal conditions exist and it is necessary.
In the event of a violation of this Policy or other FuudUp security rules, depending on the nature of the incident;
In cases of serious violations, FuudUp may apply necessary security measures without being required to provide prior warning.
FuudUp aims to support young users in using the Platform consciously and in a balanced manner.
FuudUp may apply design and usage preferences that support the safety of young users in notification, content display, privacy, and interaction features, depending on the structure of the product and available technical capabilities.

The FuudUp Community Guidelines apply to general content and user conduct rules not regulated in this Policy.
FuudUp may update this Policy in connection with changes in Platform features, security practices, applicable legislation, or risks relating to the protection of young users.
Significant changes may be notified to Users through appropriate methods to the extent required by applicable legislation.
